Hive is an underrated ecosystem. Many of the Web3 social platforms trying to launch are imitating what Hive has been doing for several years now.
That being said, I wouldn't put all my eggs in the HBD basket, that's a wobbly algo stable and 20% APY is simply not feasible. Just ask Do Kwon and his Lunatics.
My main issue with Hive is their HTML/markdown (whatever you call it) editor. I go online to write, not to code. For that reason alone, I figured it's not worth my time to write (or repurpose) on the platform (I played around with Peak'd, Ecency and HIve Blog).
